MEET DR. JOJO

Dr. Georgette “Jojo” Mulunda Ledgister is a Congolese-American scholar of ethics, gender, and religion, and a DEI and conflict response trainer. Dr. Jojo draws upon African indigenous knowledge to develop training models for organizations, companies, foundations, educational institutions, and faith communities.

She equips leaders and learners to develop the skills and strategies to build more just, diverse, equitable and inclusive communities, and to tap into the creative and constructive possibilities of conflict. Dr. Jojo holds undergraduate and master’s degrees from Emory University, where she also earned a Ph.D. in social ethics and comparative religions.

She currently serves as Research Associate and Visiting Instructor in the Women’s Studies in Religion Program at Harvard Divinity School, and is concurrently a visiting fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University.
